Associate Solicitor

Stacey Atkins is an Associate Solicitor at Beacon Law, specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence claims. With 13 years’ PQE and a career in civil litigation since 2008, Stacey brings substantial experience to complex and high-value cases.

Experience and specialism

Stacey’s caseload centres on personal injury claims, covering orthopaedic, neurological, sensory, internal organ, gynaecological, facial, burns, scarring, and psychological injuries, including PTSD. Stacey has a particular interest in catastrophic and large loss claims, where the long-term impact on a client’s life is greatest.

Qualifications and background

Stacey trained in Manchester, completing a training contract with Antony Hodari & Co Solicitors and Pannone LLP. Stacey holds an LLB and continues professional development through internal and external training to maintain their practising certificate and build on their expertise.

Notable cases

Stacey secured £2 million net for a former soldier left a lower limb amputee following a road traffic accident, a case complicated by a potential illegality defence and indemnity issues. Stacey also secured £54,000 for a 64-year-old nursing assistant who suffered a full-thickness tear of the right rotator cuff after slipping on a spillage at work, an injury that affected her ability to work and manage her household despite ongoing physiotherapy and treatment.

Working with clients

Building a positive relationship with each client is central to how Stacey works. Delivering the best possible service and outcome guides every stage of a case.

At Beacon Law

Stacey joined Beacon Law for the team: knowledgeable, down-to-earth colleagues who care about their work, each other, and the people they represent. This matches Beacon Law’s own approach to personal injury work — taking on cases larger firms turn away and giving each client genuine attention. Alongside their personal injury practice, Stacey is keen to contribute to the firm’s growing clinical negligence work as it develops.

Outside work

Outside work, Stacey spends time with their two children, hikes with their Labradoodle, and enjoys travelling.
