Sarah Johnson is a Senior Associate Solicitor at Beacon Law with 18 years’ experience in personal injury law. She represents clients from initial instruction through to settlement or trial, with particular expertise in workplace accidents, highway tripping claims, and cases brought under the Animals Act.
Sarah handles a broad range of personal injury claims, from lower-value fast-track matters to complex, high-value multi-track litigation. She has extensive experience in employer’s liability and public liability claims, particularly workplace accidents and highway tripping cases where liability is often heavily disputed and requires careful, evidence-based investigation.
She also has significant experience in a wide variety of personal injury matters, helping clients secure compensation following injuries caused by the negligence of others.
Sarah graduated with an LLB (Hons) from the University of Liverpool before completing the Legal Practice Course at Chester College of Law. She qualified as a solicitor in 2008 following the completion of her training contract.
Throughout her career, Sarah has achieved successful outcomes in numerous cases that proceeded to trial, including claims where both liability and the value of the claim were strongly contested.
She has particular experience in cases involving complex or unusual circumstances, including horse-riding accidents and serious dog attack claims, where establishing liability was far from straightforward. She has also secured favourable results in challenging public liability claims, including highway tripping cases requiring detailed investigation and robust evidential support.
Sarah is drawn to helping people who have been injured through no fault of their own. She understands that the consequences of an accident can extend far beyond the physical injury, affecting finances, family life, and emotional wellbeing.
Known for her approachable and supportive manner, Sarah takes pride in guiding clients through what can often feel like an overwhelming process. She is committed to ensuring clients feel informed, reassured, and confident throughout their claim, while delivering practical legal advice and strong representation at every stage.
Sarah was attracted to Beacon Law’s combination of legal expertise and genuine client-focused service. She values the firm’s personalised approach and commitment to building long-term relationships with clients, taking the time to understand each individual’s circumstances rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all approach.
Outside the office, Sarah enjoys theatre, particularly musical theatre, and attends performances whenever she can. She also spends much of her free time with her twin daughters and enjoys walking her dogs.
