Mark Brierley is Chief Executive Officer and a solicitor at Beacon Law, where he also holds responsibility for compliance as the firm’s Compliance Officer for Legal Practice. He has built his career in personal injury litigation, working across a broad range of claim types on behalf of injured people.
Mark’s casework spans personal injury claims generally, including road traffic accidents, accidents at work, and public liability claims such as slips, trips, and falls. Over the course of his career he has handled hundreds of personal injury cases, developing a strong grounding in litigation strategy and case preparation. This breadth of casework underpins his current leadership of Beacon Law’s approach to personal injury work.
Mark’s approach centres on thorough preparation and putting the client’s position first. Handling a high volume of cases has given him a practical understanding of what injured clients need from their solicitor, from early advice through to resolution.
As CEO, Mark is responsible for Beacon Law’s strategic direction and day-to-day operations. He leads the firm’s adoption of new technology, with a focus on improving efficiency and the client experience while supporting the firm’s long-term growth. His compliance role ensures the firm’s legal practice meets professional and regulatory standards.
Outside the firm, Mark enjoys music and reading, and is a Manchester United supporter. He also enjoys dining out and exploring new places to eat with family and friends.
