With over 30 years of experience in the legal sector, Karen is recognised for her deep expertise in supporting clients through complex and sensitive cases involving serious injury or medical negligence.
After gaining extensive experience at both large and boutique law firms across Manchester, Karen founded Beacon Law in 2002 with the aim of delivering a more personal, compassionate approach to legal services. Her commitment to client care and justice continues to shape the firm’s values today.
In her role as Senior Partner, Karen is responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm and oversees all litigation and file handling queries. She plays a pivotal role in ensuring high standards across the team and providing strategic guidance on serious and high-value cases.
In her younger years, Karen was actively involved in both the Trainee Solicitors Group and Disabled Solicitors Group of The Law Society, being elected to both committees. Karen continues to be a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and enjoys keeping up to date on developments in the profession and personal injury law in particular.
Beyond her professional achievements, Karen is a passionate advocate for disability rights and animal welfare. She enjoys spending time with her dogs and cats, as well as reading, listening to music, and being with her family.
